The Spring time season and summer are great seasons for gorgeous soft and vibrant hand painted Galilee Silks silk scarves in all their different sizes.
We have a narrow longs silk scarf, a square head scarf, a wider neck scarf and the largest a silk sarong.

All can be orderd in the various color combinations and are custom made.
Galilee Silks ships worldwide from the studio in Israel.

Usually the hand painting of the silk and the sewing of the silk scarf takes 7 days. 14 days has to be counted for delivery.

Allthough it seems a long time, it is worth the wait.

Galilee Silks scarves and other handpainted silk fashion or Judaica are enjoyed by many happy customers.

Galilee Silks 7 days of creation

The raw silk is fastened over a frame.
The silk is soaked with a water alcohol mixture.
We then apply the special high quality silk dyes after carefully choosing the colors.
After the colors dry, the silk is removed from the frame, the now dyed silk is rolled up in recycled paper. This starts the fixation of the dyes to the fabric.
After a few days the material is rinsed from excess dye.
Then it is ready to be cut and sewn!

Go to our photo gallery on our main site Galilee Silks to view the wonderful process of creating silk from Galilee!
